And yes, Dr. Girlfriend and I happen to be the lucky residents of said household, but it's not a bad deal. As it turns out, their inability to move around really works in our favor for now. But upon doing a little research I found out that he's little critters are actually only in their larval stage right now. And one day, they eventually grow into beautiful Tica / Gringo hybrids that will be able to rob men of their hearts with either a smile or a quick flick of the katana. It's amazing thinking of that, because in this stage when they're only little Gorilla Bugs, all they pretty much do is cry, fart, eat, and engage in low impact biological warfare.
I guess what ranks them amongst the more kick ass wildlife is the fact that their cheeks are really kissable and they can perform an amazing array of sounds that try as I may, I cannot duplicate. They also smell really nice ( when not committing the aforementioned low-impact biological warfare). And that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!
In all truth, I am reeling from an incident Tuesday night where my son and I were gleefully eating peanuts together and I somehow managed to rip off an old filling and half of my molar along with it. I can't have anything done about it, because of work, until Saturday. So senor dentista gave me a prescription for what is apparently the Costa Rican version of pure morphine until then. So I would just count on my posts for the week being just a little bit on the daffy side...

D'aww, sounds like some good drugs. I know how old fillings falling out feels like, oh boy does it hurt. You'll have to know what it's like going to a 'third world' dentist. I'd be concerned about his quality compared to his American counterparts. Then again, he might be amazing and very skilled at his trade.
What ever it takes to get you to Saturday. How BEAUTIFUL are those girls??? I have to agree, they are pretty awesome! Take care of yourself and enjoy your beautiful family!!!
Your son is super cute!! also careful with the prescription drugs!!
You can visit my NEW blog here.
You're pretty screwed when they do that exploring and moving stage my friend.
This is great!
my fillings actually fell out the other day. lol.
I'm not sure where their katana skills come from but it's good you warn people of this.
The gorilla bigs' fart is actually considered to be a melodious song to people from the North. Strange yet adorable, these farts always make one smile.
omg...I can't stop looking at those sweet little faces!
That's the kind of wildlife everyone should have invade their home. Oh kissable cheeks and big glossy eyes! How adorable! I feel for you on the tooth thing, but then I guess you're not feeling it now. There's a YouTube series of "drunk history" where they get people drunk and have them tell about an incident in history. Perhaps you should morphine blog...
dude i cant really concentrate in the text with that baby staring into my soul... cuttely
Hahaha, a little absurd at the moment.
Your babies are quite possibly the CUTEST babies I've seen in ages. ADORABLE as heck!!!
Sorry you've been having tooth trouble. hope that gets sorted out soon.
ah what the! I never knew peanuts were so deadly... to your molars anyway. Feel better and I hope they deal it with asap (i really do... I know too many horror stories regarding neglected dentures...)
I have to ask you, are their personalities really showing lately? After 3 weeks in the house, my niece showed a necess-... I mean a preference to be carried (otherwise she cries like a banshee, but the moment you pick her up, she switches off). My niece also only smiles (never laughs) at the genuinely funny people. So... we already know what she's gonna be.
I wonder how your beautiful twins (they prove that more IS better) will turn out! And any incidents of confusing the two so far?
The baby is staring into my soul :o
