I have decided to finally apply legitimate and sustaining effort at Amazon Mechanical Turk program since the last time I reported on it, and so far my Christmas budget has increased to another US$123.00! even though this is not the holy grail method that we're all looking for that could see that we replace a day job, it makes for one heck of a Christmas money project because everything you make as far as income with this program can be used directly towards any purchases at Amazon.com. Being that I live overseas and the majority of my family, companies like this that deliver (and maybe gift wrap during the holiday season, I don't know) are my method of choice for sending gifts to family.
The tasks themselves are fairly simple, and some of them have been pretty challenging like English and math aptitude tests that you can take for two dollars a piece. The only pitfalls that a user can really fall into is not completing a task on time or incorrectly, and having their "hit" ratio fall below a certain point. Having this ratio fall can preclude you from some of the higher dollar tasks, and make it so that you have to do the 20 and $.30 tasks until you can build it back up. But the good thing there for new users is the fact that Amazon does start you out at 100%, so there is no initial struggle to get the ratio of up to the point where you are making decent money.
I can't say enough good things about this program because it is so easy to do and it is hosted by one of the most reliable companies on the planet. It's free to join, and the tasks are available 24 hours a day while constantly updating with new ones. The only way you could make a sustainable and livable income off of this would be if you are living in a country like Bangladesh or Zaire, but if I could make $123 in two weeks and continue to sustain the effort on it (roughly 3 hours a day), by Christmas time I should have some serious Yuletide digital ammo to blast at the people I love.
I have abandoned all 60 of my bux sites, save for four who have an impeccable reputation that I have researched. Clicking spam links was starting to hurt my brain, and I couldn't help but feel a little dirty while doing it. And that's pretty weird considering all of the nasty smut that exists on yon Interwebz...
This week I'm going to be exploring the different freelance writing opportunities, and reporting back with the results next Wednesday. Until then make sure you hit up Amazon for this program, because in my experience something that works this well eventually gets closed off for free registration after a while.

Sounds very promising.
All the best, lad!

haha this is great keep it up
Sounds interesting????
I'm sorry to hear the other ones didn't pan out but I'm going to look into this Amazon thing. I could use a little Christmas money, too.
Thanks for the update!
damn this sounds nice! i gotta try this out asap!! thanks for testing the waters :)
Thank you for this! I have been saving up to get a new bag! I will definitely check it out! :D
I am so jumping on the Amazon bandwagon...and also, Spam - as in the junk links AND the canned meat product - are both bad for your brain.
I hope it works out for you! Making a little extra money for some online efforts is a GOOD thing. :)
Thanks for the info, I use Amazon associates mainly just for pics (no money yet) but will check this out.
I'm so glad I recommended this to you. Glad it's really worked out. I dunno about spending 3 hours a day at it. But spending an hour will get you roughly a third of the money, which is still good extra cash. And it makes more sense than wasting time on Facebook games.
Very cool! Examiner online is a good site for people who want to write about things locally, like be the local science or nature or organic farming expert, ghost hunter,or whatever. You write posts and get paid per people who read them. It's a cool opportunity and a few people I know are making cash that way on the side.
That one seems to have potential!
Oh I forgot to check this last time you posted about it, I'd do it now but its midnight and I still want to get to sleep
Thanks for the info! Very interesting :D
